These Terms of Service (“Terms”) set out the agreement between MHR Consultants Ltd (“we”, “our”, “us”) and the client (“you”, “your”) regarding the consultancy services we provide in relation to housing disrepair claims. By engaging with our services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Our Services

We provide claims consultancy services, which may include:

● Assessing your eligibility for a housing disrepair claim.

● Gathering evidence (photographs, tenancy details, repair history, correspondence).

● Referring cases to solicitors for legal advice and representation.

● Liaising with solicitors and third parties in support of your claim.

● Providing updates and communication throughout the process.

We are not a law firm and do not provide legal advice. If your case proceeds, you will enter into a separate agreement directly with a solicitor, who will be fully responsible for advising you and progressing your claim.

2. Referrals to Solicitors

We work with and may refer clients to Raynaya Law Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (CRN: 14507430), authorised and regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA number: 8006996).

● If we refer your case to Raynaya Law Ltd, or another solicitor, we may receive a referral fee or commission.

● This does not affect the fees you pay to the solicitor or reduce any compensation awarded to you.

● You are free to instruct a solicitor of your own choosing at any time.

4. Fees & Payment

● We do not charge you upfront for our consultancy services.

● If your case is referred to a solicitor, their fees will be explained to you separately in aclient care agreement.

● Where we receive a commission or referral fee, this will be paid directly by the solicitor to us and will not affect your compensation.

4. Sharing Your Information

We may share your information with:

● Solicitors, barristers, or legal professionals instructed in relation to your case.

● Surveyors, expert witnesses, or other third parties necessary to progress your claim.

● Service providers who support our operations (e.g., IT, admin, secure storage).

● Regulators, public authorities, or law enforcement where required by law.

We will never sell your data to third parties.

5. Confidentiality & Data Protection

We handle your personal data in accordance with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

● We may share your data with solicitors, experts, or third parties where necessary to progress your claim.

6. Limitation of Liability

● We do not guarantee the outcome of any claim.

● We are not responsible for any decisions, advice, or actions taken by solicitors or third parties.

● Our liability to you is limited to the value of the consultancy services we provide directly.

7. Complaints

We aim to provide excellent service. If you are unhappy, you may make a complaint by contacting us in writing at claims@mhrconsultants.com.

● We will acknowledge your complaint within 5 working days.

● We will investigate and provide a written response within 28 days.

● If your complaint relates to a solicitor, we will guide you on how to raise the matter with their firm or the Legal Ombudsman.

8. Termination

● You may terminate our services at any time by giving written notice.

● We may also end our services if you fail to cooperate, provide false information, or if continuing would breach our legal or regulatory duties.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
